What a wonderful Saturday! Great day to check out the Create with Connie and Mary blog hop!

Our theme this week is The Beauty of Fall.

This is perfect because I LOVE fall. It’s my favorite time of the year.

I created a nice fall card –

It’s really fun! I combined a variety of patterns from the Painted Harvest Designer Series Paper as well as some stamping!

The leaves I inked up in the Crushed Curry, then rocked the outer portion in the different ink pads to get this effect on the leaves. It’s a gorgeous, easy, and a must try technique!

I even got fancy – fancy and wrapped the gold thread behind the circle. These sort of things I struggle to get the look I want!

I am sure the other Design Team members created wonderful fall cards too!

Happy Friday! Slowly getting back into the grove of things!

Back to the color challenge with my downline. Although, sadly, one of them was severely affected by Hurricane Harvey. Her house took on water. So, she is in the process of all the salvaging what can be salvaged, soon to remodel and all that goes on with the process. And, yes, she lost lots of her stamp and craft items.

Our colors this week were chosen by Carole. Old Olive, Melon Mambo and Very Vanilla. Color Challenge 7.

I created my card and totally forgot to go with Very Vanilla!

I was playing with these framelits again. I recently got them, although, I think they are old news since the Holiday Mini came out! I can se why they are all the rage – can’t wait to use them for fall cards!!!
