1st Birthday for Jacob

One, already? Yup. Jacob is ONE today! Happy Birthday little guy!

Jacob is my great-nephew. I just wanted to wish him and his family big birthday wishes. I think this card accomplishes that.

My inspiration comes from none other than, Freshly Made Sketches. I just knew I could pull this off for a one year old birthday card, and, I did. I love this card. Bright. Fun. Cheery. Boyish.

This was a challenging layout, but that’s good. It’s not cookie cutter. It’s hard to get out of the same old card layout rut!

Recover Rapidly Caleb

Who doesn’t feel better when they receive a cute, handmade card?

I’m sure Caleb will, and his family too! I made this sweet card for a co-workers son who had surgery today.

I love the versatility of this Sale-a-Bration stamp set, Patterned Occasions. The phrase ‘Recovery Rapidly’, is just great! It can be used for so many things!

Since he is young, I went with bright, fun, cheery colors. The Brights Designer Paper Series Stack helped complete this design.
