That’s right. Tutorial pictorial.
I made this nifty Dutch Fold card for a recent Fun Fold Blog hop. I decided to give some basic directions how I made this card.
Today I’m making a different one though.
I started with a card base of 4 1/4 x 11. I trimmed off 2 inches.
For the fold over bottom flap piece, it’s 2 x 8 1/2, scored at 2 1/8 from each end.
I adhered the bottom fold over flap piece to the inside of my card. I like the inside because it looks more neat and clean from the back. I adhered a piece of Whisper White, 4 x 5 1/4, to the inside. It camouflages the seem pretty well.
From here, I just decorated it.
Mine, I used the Sale-a-Bration DSP, Wildflower Fields. The top section is 4 1/8 x 3 3/8. The smaller flap pieces are 1 7/8 x 2.
Here is the finished card –
Pretty, huh?
And, of course the inside –
Also very nice. I’ll stamp the sentiment when I decide who it’s going to.
I used three different Sale-a-Bration products here. DSP, stamp set and the glitter tape! All just wonderful!
You’ve come this far in my post. You should practice good ‘card carma’ and leave a comment. After all, I did provide you with a tutorial!
