Wow, that’s a bright combination!
Pool Party and Melon Mambo. I love it! In a simple card it works. Just like my 4×4. Hard to tell in the photo, but my base is Whisper White. With these two bold colors, you need it!
The focal point of this card is a very cool technique that I showed last year at my monthly Card Buffet. You heat emboss an image first. After it dries and cools you apply straight bleach to the image. Here, I painted the flower petals , some lightly, some heavily. The color is removed leaving a stunning realistic result!
I highly recommend paying around with this bleaching technique on scraps of card stock. This way, you can see just how the bleaching effects the color of the paper. Some colors of card stock do work quite better that others, especially the darker ones.
