Happy Try Stampin’ on Tuesday!
Here is our latest two week sketch to get you creatin’ –
Bendy card? I’ve seen them, never tried to make one! Until today!
I looked into it. Actually, rather easy!
Here is my take on one –
Rather adorable I’d say!
I’ll attempt an explanation…..To create this, I started with a base of 5 1/2″ x 4 1/4″. I added a piece of the You’re A Peach Designer Series Paper (it is on sale!).
I took a piece of Basic White, 5 1/2″ x 4 1/4″, scoring along the 4 1/4 side at 1/2″. I rotated the card stock and cut it at 2 1/2″. I cut each strip top using the Basic Border Dies creating the cloud lines.
I cut little tabs in each cloud strip opposite the score lines. I made a slit in the card base after the Designer Series paper was adhered. I made a second slit in the first cloud line for the second cloud strip. As a tip, I recommend going over the cloud strip with a bone folder to soften the card stock and make the curve easier to look rounded.
The sentiment just fits this card!!! It is from Sunny Sentiments –
Of course, it was stamped using the Stamparatus!
This card just makes me smile!!!!

Such a great card! I love the cloud borders used in this way. One question: How would you mail it? 😀
Libby Fens says
Thank you Alicia! I think to mail these, you’d have to take the tabs off but then explain what to do with them! Lol! This was my first one and it is sitting on my card shelf!

That was my thought, too. Shouldn’t be too hard for most people. What a lovely and cheerful card to see when you look up at your shelf. 🙂 Have a wonderful weekend!

Such a fresh, summer-y card, Libby! I love Bendy cards although I find them time-consuming to make. The recipient always seems to enjoy them. Great colors, too.

Thank you Melanie! I had never made one – it was fun!
