Welcome to our Thursday Create with Connie and Mary sketch challenge!

Here is our newest color challenge –

These soft colors reminded me of something for a baby…..

A baby blanket!

To create my ‘blanket’, I started with the soon-to-retire, Best Plaid Builder Dies* –

I wanted the card to look gender neutral, so I used So Saffron for the majority of the card. The lines in the plaid are both cut from Flirty Flamingo and Seaside Spray.

Take note of the added stitching! It’s from the Stitched With Whimsy Dies. It took my paper baby quilt to the next level!

The sentiment is from the So Sentimental* stamp set. It’s retiring soon too.

I used the Trio of Tags* Dies for the sentiment outline. One of the best values on the Retiring List!
