Happy March 1st!!

Starting the month off on the challenges foot.

We have a new challenge over at Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge today –

Slim card – yay! I love these! 

I went with a sweetly styled card –

I have so many great friends. I realized this last week when we were taking care of our terminal cat Cranston.

I was thinking of how caring they all were as I created this.

I started with a mini slim card, 3 1/2″ x 6″.

I added the Garden Green layer. I figured out that these three scalloped rectangles fit my card and the sketch perfectly! Score! They are the Stitched So Sweetly Dies, and a must have basic die set!

I used the Pretty Perennials to stamp the clover leaves in Garden Green, stamping off* before stamping on my card stock. *Stamping off is inking up a stamp set, then stamping the image on scrap paper first creating a lighter stamped image when stamping on the actual finished piece.  

The sentiment is the show stealer. It is from the Oval Occasions stamp set. I really bought this stamp just for that saying too! Although, look at all the great stamps in the set –
