Welcome to our Create with Connie and Mary Saturday blog hop!
Our theme this week features a masculine card!
These seem to give everyone trouble.
Since we are in the last two days of Sale-a-bration, I used the Approaching Perfection stamp set for my masculine card.
I also used my Stamparatus for this nice, manly card –
Pretty cool and guy worthy?
I used the hinge technique and stamped the sentiment along the side of the card twice before inking again. The last stamped image a stamped a few times to make it more intense.
I also used the same technique for the balloons moving the card over following the grid paper.
The sentiment was also from the same stamp set. After stamping, I die cut it using the Pierced Blooms Dies. First time to use this shaped die, it’s quite nice.
Although not a seperate picture, the card is a gift card holder! You may be able to see the cuts in the picture. I keep all my card bases in a color coded drawer, this was all I had for Basic Gray and decided to just use it!
I’d love to read what you think!
Go forward to check out Debbie Henderson, and back to Cindy Elam. I know they’ll have some great projects to inspire us!
