Welcome to our Create with Connie and Mary Saturday blog hop!
I hope you are in good health these days!
Our theme this week features treat for Easter!
Kind of difficult these days to give out treats with the social distancing we have to abide by. So, how about neighbors and family?
I took one of my favorite chocolates (Ghiradelli) and created these little adorable, quick matchbooks –
I used the Friends Like You stamp set for the sentiment. This nifty shape its stamped on is from the Stitched Labels Dies. Behind the dies cut is a punched 1 3/4″ circle in Seaside Spray.
I chose the colors for these treats based on the colors in the chocolate –
You can get 5 of these from one sheet of card stock. Each measures 2″ x 7 3/4″, scored at 3/4″, 4 1/4″ and 4 5/8″
You can see from the side how the additional scoreline adds a little room when closed.
The ribbon hides the staple nicely. Yes, it’s retired.
You’ll get lots of ideas for last minute Easter treats today! Go forward to check out Debbie Henderson, and back to Mary Brown. I know they’ll have some great projects to inspire us!
