Welcome to our first 2020 Create with Connie and Mary Saturday blog hop!
Our theme this week features a card with words of encouragement.
This is perfect timing as a friend just received some unsettling health news and I was making her a card already. I just want to hug her.
I pulled out this lovely Sale-a-Bration water color paper, Lily Impressions as my starting point –
As you can see, I could not resist using the So Sentimental Bundle again.
I wanted to soften the colors in the paper, so I die cut the largest scalloped rectangle in card stock Vellum. By cutting it in half and placing it on the ends, it reminded me of a ‘hug’.
The sentiment was also just want I wanted to say. I used another scallop rectangle for this as well. Told you I love the versatility of the dies!
This double bows also softens the card as well. I think she will love it.
A new occasions catalog for Stampin’ Up! started Friday with soo many lovely products! You can also get rewards through Sale-a-Bration too! Check those out here.
Go forward to check out Debbie Henderson, and back to Mary Brown. I know they’ll have some great projects to inspire us!
