Welcome Wednesday!
It’s been so hot here and perfect weather to craft and play with stuff!
I ran across this challenge blog, Atlantic Hearts and loved their clean, simple challenges! I just had to try the newest one they offered –
Nice. Fun. Simple. Clean.
Perfect to pair with the See a Silhouette Designer Series Paper that is bold and bright!
I started with cutting one of these gorgeous water colored flowers from one of the printed patterns.
It worked well with this herringbone pattern so I added that as my background. I played around with coordinating colors for this card. Lots work, but some better than others!
My base is the new Balmy Blue, then layered with Blackberry Bliss, a favorite of mine. I chose Crushed Curry to bring out the flower center and the diagonal stripe following the lines in the pattern paper.
The sentiment is from the Perennial Birthday stamped in Blackberry Bliss on Balmy Blue. Whisper White was just a bit too bold for this card.
What do you think? A winner, right? Beautifully bold! I love it!
- Stamp Set – Perennial Birthday
- Card Stock – Balmy Blue, Blackberry Bliss, Crushed Curry
- Ink – Blackberry Bliss
- DSP – See a Silhouette
- Punches – Tailored Tag
- Other – Stamparatus
