Happy Friday! Welcome to our monthly blog hop –
Our theme this month is Easter.
I don’t have a lot of current Easter sentiments. So, I improvised and went with a Easter thank you card –
Actually, a #simplestamping thank you card!
I created another version because this was so quick and fun –
I just love tulips. Creating them from non-tulip stamps or punches is soo much fun!
I used the Abstract Impressions stamp set, starting with the leaves / stems using the two different stamps in the set. One, I stamped fully inked. The other stamp, I stamped off first before stamping on the panel. It created light and dark greenery.
For the tulips, I used a leaf stamp from the set. I stamped it two times askew creating the tulip flower.
After the flowers were done, I stamped the sentiment. Quite easy!
I will create more of these cards using a retired Easter sentiment. This card really screams Easter to me! Wouldn’t you agree?
Check out the others on the hop!

- Card Stock – Granny Apple Green, Whisper White
