"Always Be My Baby" - Create with Connie and Mary Saturday Blog Hop

Welcome to our Create with Connie and Mary Saturday blog hop!

Our theme this week still rocks the 90’s with the song, ‘Always Be My Baby’, where we are featuring cards for kids!

This one took a little thought for me. I have no young children around. And, I have no kid themed stamps.

But, I do have this adorable octopus! I mean, who doesn’t love and eight legged creature????

I designed this fun and whimsical card –

Isn’t this the perfect card for a kid?

I stamped the octopus in the classic, Real Red, then framelit cut him out.

I placed him atop a framelit cut circle from the Garden Impressions 6×6 Designer Series Paper (who would have thought????). The speckled strip is also from the same pack of Designer Series Paper.

I looked through all my sentiments for the perfect clear one, for ease of stamping. Cue the Confetti, from Picture Perfect Birthday won! Then, of course I had to add confetti! That came from Birthday Backgrounds!

This is simply an adorable card!!!

I can’t wait to be inspired by Debbie Henderson, and Mary Brown. I know they’ll have some great kid themed cards!
