Happy Saturday! Time for a Create with Connie and Mary blog hop!
Our theme this week is Favorite New Designer Series Paper.
The catalog is relatively new for and I haven’t had the opportunity to play around with all the Designer Series Papers. And, if you know me, you know I will just keep playing with the same thing!
I really do like this Sweet Soiree Designer Series Paper. I love the shiny silver accent in the design.
I’m a little behind the times as these ‘Box in a Card’ cards were all the rage around Christmas. I decided this beautiful paper would be lovely to showcase this style of card!
This particular pattern is cool because it’s the same pattern, one with a Berry Burst base, the other a Whisper White base. It made a nice coordination here.
I watched several videos and tutorials how to create this card. In the end, I did my own thing with the cut out in the card to hold the box. The box was like all that I saw, a 6×6 piece of paper, scored at 2″ all around. Quite easy I must say.
Go forward to Debbie Henderson, and see what her favorite Designer Series Paper, DSP, is. Go back to Mary Brown. I know you’ll be inspired by her favorite DSP too!
