It’s Thursday! Time for another fabulous layout from Create with Connie and Mary!
Isn’t this fun?
Since I create cards very streamline, these sort of freestyle designs are always a real challenge for me. And, of course, I wanted to play around with the Thoughtful Branches bundle some more.
So, how to combine these two???
Like this –
And, I love it!!!
I cut the ‘tree top’ from the set in Pumpkin Pie and the ‘trunk’ in Early Espresso at the same time. I adhered the tree top, aka, pumpkin, to another piece of Pumpkin Pie and simply cut around it. Because no pumpkin is perfect – my cutting didn’t have to be either!
The leaves and the sentiment are from the same bundle too!
The DSP is one of those nifty 6×6 pads!
I hope I have inspired you with this card to use your dies/framelits maybe not quite how they were intended to be used! It’s always fun to see items in a different way!
You should see what the other design team members created too! Create with Connie and Mary would love for you to share what you have done with the sketch as well!
I’d love to hear from you!

Love it! Love the DSP’s you chose and the fun die cut over the top of the pumpkin giving it texture. Very fun!
