It’s April, and that fun time of the month again! Besides the excitement of it being my anniversary of 26 years yesterday (hence why I’m late), it’s also a fabulous blog hop over at Wacky Watercooler!
Grab a cup of coffee Make a pot of coffee and prepare yourself for a real treat of a blog hop and some talented creators.
What we have done here is to go to another person’s blog, for me, Buffy Cooper on the hop, and find a few cards or projects and recreate them using the soon-to-retire 2014-2016 In-Colors.
You know me, I’m all about themes! The first picture will be Buffy’s items, the next will be mine using my theme. Since there are five retiring colors, I found five, yes five, cards to re-create using those colors.
First. I started with this nifty box Buffy had directions for. Can you believe it, I’ve never made a box using the Envelope Punch Board? Gasp, what’s wrong here?? Here is the link to Buffy’s box and her box –
And, here is my box front decorated –
This card from this post I found on Buffy’s site really caught my eye. It’s simple.
And, here is how I re-created it –
Remember, I got a theme going here. It’s so nice and bright!
This card was another eye-catching one for me. It came from this post.
And I pretty much copied it. With a twist.
Cheers because we had a nice ‘toast’ to celebrate 26 years!
Now, this card was just stunning in color. It’s from this post.
And, my take on it –
Because in a marriage, there’s always got to be laughter! Either with one another or at each other!!! Lol!
I really just kept finding cards to copy. Buffy has some great work! This is card four from this post.
And, my really sweet take on it –
Although I forgot to emboss the Tangelo Twist, you get the idea. And, guys don’t really notice things like that anyway!
Ok. Ok. Last card I found. It can be found at this link.
And, yes, we celebrated Thursday.
So. Nice, huh? Guess my ‘theme’ in addition to the ‘Retiring In-Colors’?
Anniversary. All the cards have a definite theme of love. All are masculine of sorts too. So, Happy Anniversary, Ed! Lot’s of love to you for many more years to come!

Hi Libby. Just popped by to wish you a belated anniversary and to say what an awesome job you’ve done by making five different cards. This is a great set for a stamp a stack. My favourite from the group is the Celebration one with its clean bold lines and colour mix. Thanks for sharing!

Hi Libby, you really did get into it with five CASEs, didn’t you? I’d have to say my favourite was the Celebration one. I love the colours you chose for that one and your white background makes them pop beautifully. Those linked hearts are sweet and add the perfect touch as well. Thanks for being part of our crazy April blog hop.

Thank you Heidi! Glad you liked all my cards. The celebrate was my favorite too. What a fun idea CASing each other!
