I’ve been sporadic in my posting lately.
My daughter is home from college! Wahoo! And, we’ve been catching up. You know, trash TV, crafts, chillin’……
The other day she asked me how to make paper flowers. I have made several different ones and they are all over my craft room.
Conveniently, my birthday was just last week and I had all this red tissue paper left over. One of THE best things to make full paper flowers with.
We used the Floral Frames Collection Framelits. Next thing you know, we had a dozen flowers made! I was cutting and she was assembling. Now, they just need stems. We will get to that and I’ll show them later when we do.
I made a few smaller flowers using 2 of the dies and 8 layers of tissue each. OMG. So pretty! My issue. What to do with them?
I decided to look at my sketches and make a card. I liked The Paper Players, It’s Hip to be Square challenge.
So, I went with the challenge and created this –
And, a side view to see the lovely flower –
A pretty simple card. It is quite stunning in person. Not sure who this lovely will go to??? This should be fun to mail!
I will definitely make more of these. Now to figure out what to do with the other flower……
Go make a card, or buy one if you must, and make someones day! Be a cheerleader to someone who needs it.

Such a bold and beautiful card–love this flower! I like the way you’ve stamped the background–it really grounds the flower and the design. Thank you for joining us at The Paper Players!
