Pointed Happy Birthday

I’m sharing some of the cards made for my Card Buffet this past weekend.

This one is great because it’s clean, fun, simple, and, masculine! Yes, masculine. Those are so hard to make.

It’s also for an Addicted to CAS challenge. Chevrons.

Simple enough.

And, so is my card.

This tall and skinny, 3 1/2 x 5 1/2, design works quite well here. It’s a wonderfully simple design that couldn’t get any easier.

The ‘happy birthday’ sentiment from Something to Say, is sort of scratchy like the hand drawn look of the chevrons. It’s those little details that really make a card flow.
