Hah! Finished something. Finally.
And, I made 5 of them!
Have you seen these nifty 8×8 sheets of paper folded to make a cute ‘pinwheel’ card? They are SO fun to make with all the neat DSP’s we have. But, I thought, I wanted my paper to go a little further……so, with a bit of tweaking I came up with a mini version that uses 6×6 DSP.
Using the diagonal plate, score each side of your paper at 2 1/4. You’ll have 4 lines, intersecting.
Then where those two lines intersect, remove that little triangle area.
Remove the diagonal plate. Lay your paper down with the other side facing up. Now, score each side at 3/4. You’ll have 4 lines.
Fold all 4 those newly scored lines.
Flip over your paper. Fold those first 4 made score lines. Sorry, forgot to take a photo of this step.
Tuck the last one under the first one.
Done.
See how cute these are –
Pistachio Pudding. You Make Me Smile.
Crisp Cantaloupe. Thank U.
Coastal Cabana. K is for kindness.
Strawberry Slush. Be Mine.
Baked Brown Sugar. For You.
I thought this retiring DSP Paper Stack was perfect for this idea. These colors and stamp set as retiring as well…..
Nice group of cards, right?
I added a few silver Frosted Sequins from the Clearance rack. It was just the finishing touch these needed.
Please let me know if try my tutorial for this smaller version and how it works out. And, of corse, please give me credit of you share this.

Really cute idea! I really like the cards! I wonder if you could do this with the envelope punch board??

Thanks for taking the time to leave a compliment! I bet you could use the EVB, the edges would not come out sharp, they’d be rounded. Guess I will take this as a challenge and try it out!
