Banner LOVE direction because of all the elements I used in my card share today.
Like I said yesterday, I love card challenges. This time I found a color challenge to play along with over at the Paper Players. The colors to use are Midnight Muse, Crisp Cantaloupe and Gold. Nice, challenging combination I’d say.
I went with a non-traditional Valentine type themed card.
I stamped my letters in Gold Encore from the ABC-123 Sketch Alphabet & Numbers. I used the Sale-a-Bration Banner Punch to punch them out. They work perfectly together!
I added the detail of punching the two card stock colors two more times to add a piece at the bottom and top of the mini Banners. It added some length. The background is the Watercolor Wonder Washi Tape. The arrows are from a new framelit set, On Film Framelits.
Just a few elements put together to create an amazing card. Speaking of card, the card size here is a retired Stampin’ Up gift note or enclosure sized card (and envelope). It’s wonderful. I wished we still had these. I do have a lot of odd retired stuff in my stash.
Happy Stampin’

Libby, this is adorable!! Love all the elements you’ve used here. The banners, arrows and washi tape are all spot-on trendy. Love the pop of color on the top and bottom of each letter–fab! Thank you for taking my color challenge at The Paper Players!

Cute card, Libby! I love how you bordered your banners with different colors top and bottom, and of course the fab washi tape. Great use of the challenge colors. Thanks so much for joining us this week at The Paper Players!
