Such a big day today for little man Shane.
First off, it’s his 5th birthday! Wow! Five years old! That’s always a big deal for little ones.
And, to add to that, it’s his first day of school. Kindergarten.
Lots of big things, all in one day. I’m sure he will do just fine with all the excitement. It’s mom that might have a bigger time with it! Nonetheless, congratulations to Lauren and Nona, Kelly with the joyful day!
I had this card in thoughts, but just not how I was going to create it. I looked to Fab Friday for some inspiration. This is their 25th challenge for Fab Friday. A ‘golden’ one, but I went for silver on my card creation. lol!
I used a couple of retired items to create this card. Brights DSP Stack – got lots of those around the craft room – and the Made for You stamp set. I just had fun. The candle flames will surprise you. I made them using the long since retired Stocking Builder Punch. It’s the heel! Worked perfectly here!
Looking at the photo, the card photographed rather brightly, but it is sure to please in person. Kids don’t care. It means something just to be remembered, and, um, maybe to get a gift too!
Once again, Happy 5th Birthday Shane!
Happy Stampin’
