Happiness. What a sweet thing, happiness. And, what a sweet thing, this card share for today.
I was inspired at 11:30 pm last night, yes, I had to work today, to create this little Happiness card. I wanted to make something for The Paper Players Challenge #147. The challenge said “it’s a great way to use up scraps, mix and match patterns and textures, or anything your heart and mind can imagine!!!” I sort of complied.
The (I think) So Saffron piece of DSP came from an old packet from a Stampin’ Up Regional. Um, ya, I never completed that project. The flower was from my box of stuff that I thought I was going to use, but, obviously didn’t! And, who doesn’t have scraps of ribbon lying about their crafty area?
So, voila! With a little trimming, a little stampin’, a little tying, a card is created! And, a lovely card at that, if I do say so myself! This was a fun challenge even though I didn’t have a great mix of patterns or papers.
Hope you like it! Hope it brings a little happiness to your day!
Happy Stampin’

A cheery bright and beautiful card! I love your DSP choices and the flower is beautiful. It’s on vellum isn’t it? Did you emboss it?
Libby says
Thanks, Heather! The flower is vellum just stamped in white craft ink. I appreciate you stopping by and leaving a comment!

What a pretty card! I love the vellum flower and the mix of yellow papers. I wish your pictures were larger so I could see more of the detail — my eyes seem to get worse each passing year — and I know I miss some of your pretty details each time I visit your blog. Thanks for joining us at the Paper Players this week!
