Can you grab that towel, please? Well, maybe not. These are paper! But, oh, so, cute!
Lol, I love this card. No, the idea of a pair of towels is not a new one, but, I have not seen my take on the towels before. And, i have been wanting to try this design. My towels are folded over and actually move! Just an added detail!
Speaking of the towels, I used the sweet little Needlepoint Border Embossing Folder to add a little texture to the lower half. As well as my favorite these days, the Dotted Scallop Ribbon Border Punch for just a tiny edging. Just makes a darling pair of towels, ya think?
I did not have any Mr. or Mrs. stamp sets after I created the towels. Gah! What to do? Eh, use the You Rule stamp set form the Spring Mini! King and Queens, perfect newlywed names, right?
I was inspired to make this card for two reasons. One, my nieces’ friend just got married this past weekend. Congratulation Rose and Nathan! And, I wanted to play along with another card challenge. This time it was a color challenge from Dynamic Duos. Colors to use were Pumpkin Pie and Bashful Blue.
So, the need for a wedding card and this wonderful color combination, voila! This great, simple, cute card!
