Happy Birthday Tulip Girl, I mean Frances. (She is my sister-in-law.) So, for her card I found another sketch challenge to use as my starting point.
Funny thing, Frances is Dutch. The challenge comes from Krista, a Dutch stamper over at Cards & Things Challenges. Here is my starting point –
And, here is what I came up with –
Umm, notice the tulips?? Yes, they were a bit challenging to adhere. But, I love them none the less! Dutch people love flowers, and tulips – can’t go wrong. And these won’t wilt either. These are your virtual flowers Frances!
Supplies. Afterthoughts Stamp Set (retired, Hostess). Concord Crush Ink. Daffodil Delight, Poppy Parade, Concord Crush, Pear Pizzaz and Whisper White Card Stocks. Scallop Trim Border Punch. Martha Stewart Tulip and Large Corner Rounder Punches (sorry, don’t recall names).
I think this card is VERY appropriate for Frances’ birthday. A card centered around cheese just would not cut it (no pun intended)!
Happy, Happy Birthday Frances! Lots of love!
Happy Stampin’
