At my monthly stamp classes, I like to introduce something *new*. Usually a technique or a new card fold.
So, this month I chose the *Buckle Card* fold. This is what I designed –
I was sooo excited to receive my Button Buddies Stamp Set. And, in Libby fashion, had to come up with something a little different. The outside, jumbled, greeting is from the Hostess set, Happiest Birthday Wishes. Here is the inside of the card –
We markered part of the sentiment also from the Hostess set, Happiest Birthday Wishes, “a little bit late”. Because how many times have you forgotten someones birthday and needed a card to still send?
Funny story. I always go around and demo each project before letting everyone work on their own. I cut, punch, glue, and stamp the sample upside down because I am usually facing everyone. Well, for this card, I did. And, I punched it wrong. But, no worries. This is how it turned out –
See, looks just fine! I did not add the button, because, you get the idea here.
I used the bulk buy Tempting Turquoise Buttons, Brights DSP Paper Stack, Tempting Turquoise Ink and card stock. Additionally, I used the Word Window Punch.
Hope you like, I mean love this card. I sure do!
Happy Stampin’

Is the white strip glued under the inside of the card?
Libby says
The ‘buckle’ is under the Tempting Turquoise layer with Sticky Strip. On the inside, it is just a strip of Whisper White placed on top of the Tempting Turquoise.
