This was the other favorite project at the class! It was also very quick with a big *WOW* because it was so easy and just sooo cute!
SS – Carved and Candlelit (retired, but you could use the face from Autumn Harvest)
I – Basic Black, Pumpkin Pie
CS – Pumpkin Pie, Chocolate Chip
D – Two Tags Die
R – Old Olive 5/8 Grosgrain
O – Crimper, Glue Dots, stapler
I started with 2 precut, trimmed tags from the Two Tags Die.
Stamp a face on one side of the tag, at the bottom.
The bottom of each tag will have 1/2 inch past the score line, (they were trimmed to accommodate the candy). Attach the 2 tags together, overlapping to each score line.
Run through the Crimper, long ways. Your crimp marks should run up and down as to give the look of lines, dimension on your pumpkin.
Take your opened Pumpkin Pie Ink Pad and use the *Direct to Paper* technique. Basically, glide the ink pad along the crimped card stock so that it picks up the ink randomly on the lines. Do this to the edge as well.
Fold up on your score lines.
At this point, I added a *Nerds* candy with a little adhesive to make it stay.
Run your 1/2 x 4 inch piece of Chocolate Chip Card Stock through both of the rounded tag openings. Pull up. Crease and staple. Trim at an angle to look like a stem.
Take the Old Olive 5/8 Grosgrain Ribbon and tie it. Attach it to the front of the pumpkin with a Glue Dot.
Done.
Now, how cute is that?
If you want a non – Halloween treat, one that is school approved these days, then just omit the face. It is still a cute little pumpkin!

This is a great idea! What type of candy did you put inside and how did you attach it? Thanks!

I used Nerds candy. I adhered it with just regular mono! The base can be adjusted for different candy sizes/thicknesses. Let me know how yours turn out!
